Vandana Jha was born and brought up in Bihar. Her date of birth is 2nd October (the year is not known and hence we are unable to say anything about her age). Vandana did schooling from Bihar and later took admission in Delhi University in 2002 from where she did B. Sc. During graduation days, Vandana started to dream about becoming a journalist. She took admission in Bhartiya Vidya Bhavan from where she completed her Post Graduate Diploma in Mass Communication.

Vandana Jha got internship offer from TV Today network which she joined in 2007. Her first job was with Live News as a Trainee News Reporter in 2007. Unfortunately, this news channel got mired in lots of controversy because of a fake sex scandal planted against an innocent teacher of Delhi. She left the job in early 2008 TV Today. Here at Aaj Tak she worked for three years and resigned in 2011 with designation of Assistant Producer. Anuradha Prasad, the owner of BAG Network (News 24) gave her an offer which was tough for her to deny. She is working with News 24 since then – for around 6 years.
