Lt. Colonel Shrikant Purohit is an example of the heinous attempt made by the previous UPA Government to malign Hindus. Purohit along with Sadhvi Pragya were arrested and kept in jail without any charges. Moreover, there was not an iota of proof against them. But, they were mercilessly kept in solitary confinement.
Colonel Purohit has now been granted bail by the Supreme Court of India. Many sting operations have already shown that Ahmed Patel and Chidambaram did everything to implicate him on flimsy grounds.
Colonel Purohit was abducted by a fellow Indian Army man on 29th October, 2008. He was declared as arrested by the notorious Maharashtra ATS on 5th November. Maharashtra ATS was under Hemant Karkare, the corrupt and communal IPS officer who got the highest bravery award for not firing even a single bullet. He would have loved to see many Kasabs in India. Alas! He will killed by Kasab.
Hence, Colonel Purohit was languishing in jail since November, 2008. And, no charge sheets have ever filed against him. He was in jail without any trial. For human right activists in India, he was a bygone case. These idiots don’t cry for Hindus. The biggest fault of Colonel Purohit was him being a Hindu.

There has always been a vital question. Why did they select Purohit to implicate and prove the theory of Saffron Terror? The answer is simple. First, Purohit was already posted in Nasik and hence it could have been easy to show that he was in direct touch with Abhinav Bharat member. Second, he was the man who had infiltrated ISI network in India. He had broken apart SIMI. He knew a lot about ISI and their links with many Congress leaders. He needs to be silenced. Killing him would have created problems. The best way was to implicate him falsely thereby shooting two birds in a single shot.
